Item and rune drops for Faction characters in Tyria??
I will be merging my accounts, so that all of my characters can play on both continents. I'm just wondering if Assassin and Ritualist items/runes will drop in Tyria. If that is the case, then people who only own the prophecies campaign will be able to get drops for factions characters.
If Assassin and Ritualist items WILL NOT drop in Tyria, why would anyone want to start one of those characters in Tyria instead of Cantha? Has ANet mentioned anything about this? If so, where can I read it? |

Assasin & Ritualist items have already started dropping in Tyria with the last major update.
My guess is that once Factions goes "live", then A & Rit items will drop just like the core classes do today. |

-then the only "skill" you have is /dance.
on topic: Has anyone unlocked 'sin or rit runes yet in tyria? (normal way of "monster rune drop", probably not possible yet, exception is thru faction pts.) |

Normally, the weps that mobs drop are somewhat related to the class of that character. Mergoyles dropping Memser items, Bog Skales dropping Neco.. though occasionally, they do drop for other classes. My theory, once GWF goes live; there will be a few drops here and there... but not as plentiful as in Cantha...

that makes sence, since they would like you to buy both games...
but what they said still makes me wonder... no new content will be realeased for GW:P once factions had been released... unless they pop all the droppable items/skills ect into the game *befor* factions goes fully live.... |

You can't "start" an assassin or ritualist in Tyria - You have to start them in Cantha.
